From ethanol to e-Methanol: Unlocking the US Midwest’s
next energy opportunity

CONTACT US

Fuel markets are constantly evolving as market forces continue to shape future energy requirements.

As demand for e-vehicles increase, US Midwest producers must innovate or face losing market share in an evolving fuel landscape. One solution – e-Methanol. It offers a clear path forward to new revenue, lower emissions and long term growth.
Ethanol producers in the US Midwest have a new and fast growing revenue opportunity: rising demand for low carbon.

Why e-Methanol?

E-Methanol is rapidly emerging as a lower carbon fuel alternative for shipping and sustainable aviation as companies look at ways to reduce emissions. The EU regulations such as ReFuel aviation and FuelEU maritime aim to cut greenhouse gas emission intensity in these sectors. Ethanol producers are well placed to support the growing demand for carbon neutral fuels by converting their CO2 to e-Methanol. By 2050, global e-Methanol production is forecasted to reach 250 million metric tonnes, emerging as key part of the future energy mix.
E-Methanol is a critical part of decarbonization. By capturing CO2 and converting it into a valuable fuel, e-Methanol offers a powerful solution for decarbonizing industries.
