CCBJ Award for Industry Leadership win
We’ve been awarded the Climate Change Business Journal's (CCBJ) 2022 Industry Leadership Award for Climate & Infrastructure.
The awards were presented at the Business Achievement Awards banquet at the Environmental Industry Summit XXI on March 22-24, 2023, in San Diego, USA. James Frolich, Vice President – Environment & Society, USA for Advisian, our consulting group, accepted the award.
We were recognized for our efforts in delivering a more sustainable world through insights and leadership. The committee considered our From Ambition to Reality thought leadership series and the practical actions we took in 2022. These included:
- Our focus on sustainable solutions through involvement in the Charge on Consortium, Block Chain for Energy Consortium, Direct Air Capture Alliance (DAC) and collaboration with ABB and IBM
- Being a partner, champion, or sponsor for initiatives including FAST-Infra Consortium, Climate Leaders Coalition, Net Zero Australia, Business Ambition for 1.5°, Aiming for Zero and the Energy Transitions Commission
- Sharing our thinking and work with customers, industry, government and other stakeholders through papers, presentations, and executive roundtables.
“The Climate Change Business Journal’s award is great recognition of the progress our people are making in tackling the complex challenges of the energy transition,” said Sue Brown, Executive Group Director Sustainability.
“From our work with Princeton University on the From Ambition to Reality series, we know that achieving mid-century net-zero targets requires radical shifts in the way we deliver infrastructure.
“We’re pleased to be recognized for the steps we’re taking to advance and measure those radical shifts, including sharing our thinking and collaborating with our customers, partners, industry leaders and policy makers,” she said.
