Sasquatch gives you control of over 50 different attributes, including color, shading, styling, combing, and placement of your fur and hair. Each one of those attributes can be texture mapped using several different methods.
The Surface Texturing Panel
You can control attributes using image maps (which autosize to your surface or object, or can be arbitrarily oriented), with fractal noise, dots, giraffe spots, effectors, or even surface slope!
Each of these texture controls gives you a preview of the effect in the texture panel so it's easy to adjust settings.
